Getting to Edinburgh by Rail

Waverley Train Station
Waverley Train Station is a modern station in the heart of the city centre. It is situated on Princes Street and is only minutes away from the Royal Mile and George Street. With many trains running all over the country it is an ideal entry point into Edinburgh.

Edinburgh-Glasgow Shuttle
Of special interest to many is the Edinburgh-Glasgow Shuttle, running every 15 minutes for most of the day it provides an essential link for commuters as well as greatly increasing the ease with which visitors can reach Edinburgh. The shuttle also stops at Haymarket Station, located a little to the west of Edinburgh city centre.
